Adressing a gathering of Kashmiri Pandits, Abhishek Thathoo, a member of Roots in Kashmir said “Syed Ali Geekani, Yasin Malik and Bitta Karate are the manifestation of evil and their demonic activties has led to death of 100s of innocent people. With this symbolic burning, we hope that the evil within them also burns”

Kashmiri Pandits hailed the Indian security forces as the army of righteous and paid glowing tributes to the martyrs, who have sacrificed their lives for India.

Sh. Vijay Raina, President Kashmiri Samiti Delhi urged the government to be cautious as the recent attack on Kashmiri Pandits and minority pickets in the valley is an attempt to push another exodus of remaining Kashmiri Pandits living the valley. He said that “attack on KPs is a direct attack on symbols of India.”

Aroop Rayu, spokesperson, Roots in Kashmir said “Kashmir is the land of Shakti, and we pray to Goddess Durga that she soon annihilates the evil from the valley and brings back peace and prosoerity with dignified return of Kashmiri Pandits back to their homes.”
