ज्ञातव्य है कि परमधर्माधीश ज्योतिष्पीठाधीश्वर जगदगुरु शंकराचार्य स्वामिश्री: अविमुक्तेश्वरानंद: सरस्वती जी महाराज का 22वां चातुर्मास्य व्रत अनुष्ठान दिल्ली में 22 जुलाई से 18 सितंबर तक सम्पन्न हो रहा है।जिसके दौरान अनेकों आध्यात्मिक मूल्यों के स्थापना हेतु विविध धर्मानुष्ठान आयोजित हो रहे हैं। इसी क्रम में 2 अगस्त से 6 अगस्त तक गौरक्षार्थ गो संसद का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। जिसमे राष्ट्र के समस्त जिलों से एक प्रमुख गौभक्त को गो सांसद बनाया जा रहा है जो गौमाता के रक्षा हेतु समर्पित होकर प्रण व प्राण से कार्य करेंगे।
