गौमाता राष्ट्रमाता प्रतिष्ठा अभियान के अन्तर्गत दिल्ली में पंचदिवसीय द्वितीय गौ-संसद
गौमाता को राष्ट्रमाता का सम्मान दिलाने तथा गौहत्या मुक्त भारत बनाने हेतु संपूर्ण भारत में चलाए जा रहे महाभियान के अंतर्गत देश की राजधानी दिल्ली में द्वितीय गो संसद में होने जा रही है। सनातन धर्म में गाय को पशु नहीं अपितु माता की प्रतिष्ठा दी गई है जिसकी महिमा वेद, उपनिषद, पुराणों सहित समस्त शास्त्रों में गायी गई है और यही सनातन धर्मी हिंदुओ की पवित्र भावना है, आस्था है। इसी धार्मिक आस्था हेतु संविधान एवं कानून में गाय को पशु सूची के अपमान से हटाकर माता की प्रतिष्ठा दिलाने के लिए यह अभियान निरन्तर जारी है जिसके लिए राज्य सूची से हटाकर इसे केंद्रीय विधि की सूची में डालने की मांग हो रही है। स्वतंत्रता प्राप्त से ही निरन्तर गौमाता की प्रतिष्ठा एवं रक्षा के प्रयास होते रहे है जिसमें 1966 के धर्म सम्राट यतिचक्रचूणामणि पूज्य करपात्री जी महाराज जी के निर्देशन में हुआ प्रचलित गौरक्षा आंदोलन है जिसके लिए हजारों गौभक्तों का बलिदान हुआ था। गौ कथावाचक पूज्य गोपाल मणि जी ने इसी आंदोलन को देशभर में जीवन्त रखा तथा इस पवित्र अभियान में चारो पीठों के शंकराचार्यों का आशीर्वाद प्राप्त किया जिस हेतु चारो पीठों के पूज्य जगद्गुरू शंकराचार्यों द्वारा प्रयागराज में आयोजित प्रथम रामा गो संसद में गौमाता को राष्ट्रमाता का सम्मान दिलाने एवं गौहत्या बंदी कानून सहित 21 बिंदु का धर्मादेश भी पारित किया गया था जिसे देश के प्रधानमंत्री , राष्ट्रपति सहित संबंधित मंत्रालयों में भेजा गया था। इस गो संसद से पारित प्रस्तावों पर केंद्र सरकार द्वारा कोई उचित कार्यवाही ना होने के बाद
पूज्य ज्योतिषपीठाधीश्वर जगद्गुरु शंकराचार्य अविमुक्तेश्वरानंद जी महाराज जी के नेतृत्व में नंगे पैर पदयात्रा गोवर्धन से दिल्ली तक निकाली गई जिसमें गो कथावाचक पूज्य गोपाल मणि जी सहित अनेक संतो के साथ देश भर से आए गौभक्त माता बहन भाइयों ने प्रतिभाग किया तथा शंकराचार्य जी द्वारा गौभक्त स्मारक स्थल संसद भवन में 1966 के गौ बलिदानियों को श्रद्धांजलि देकर गो प्रतिष्ठा का पुनः संकल्प लिया गया। पूज्य जगद्गुरू ज्योतिष्पीठाधीश्वर शंकराचार्य जी के निर्देशन में आज गौ प्रतिष्ठा का अभियान निरन्तर गतिमान है जिन्होंने इस संवत्सर को गौ संवत्सर के रूप में घोषित किया है तथा इस समय चातुर्मास महोत्सव में देश की राजधानी दिल्ली में विराजमान हैं। इस उचित अवसर पर भारत की राजधानी दिल्ली जहां भारत की संसद कानून बनाती वहां गौमाता की पुकार को नजदीक से सुनाने के लिए गौमाता राष्ट्रमाता प्रतिष्ठा अभियान के क्रम में इस वर्ष द्वितीय रामा गो संसद भारत की राजधानी दिल्ली में दिनांक 2 अगस्त से 6 अगस्त तक रखी जा रही है। इस गौ संसद में देश भर के अनेकों प्रतिष्ठित संत , 543 गो सासंद सहित सेकडो लोग प्रतिभाग करेंगे।
