आज दोपहर 2:30 बजे मुम्बई से वायुमार्ग द्वारा बाबतपुर हवाईअड्डा पहुँचने पर परमाराध्य परमधर्माधीश ज्योतिष्पीठाधीश्वर जगदगुरु शंकराचार्य जी महाराज का श्री रवि त्रिवेदी जी, गिरीशचन्द्र जी, रमेश उपाध्याय जी, सतीश अग्रहरि जी, अभय शंकर जी, हजारी जी, यतीन्द्र जी, सुभाष कपूर जी आदि ने जोरदार स्वागत, अभिनंदन व वंदन किया। उसके पश्चात् परमधर्माधीश जी महाराज सड़क मार्ग से हरिचन्द्र घाट मार्ग पहुचे जहां पहले से उपस्थित भक्तों,सन्तों,वैदिक आचार्यों व वैदिक छात्रों ने उनका स्वागत करते हुए शंकराचार्य घाट स्थित श्रीविद्यामठ तक ले गए।जहां पर वैदिक मंत्रोच्चार के मध्य ब्रम्ह्चारी प्रधान पुरुषेश्वरानंद जी ने शंकराचार्य जी महाराज का पं किरण कुमार जी के आचार्यत्व में चरण पादुका पूजन किया। साथ ही वहाँ उपस्थित भक्तों ने माल्यापर्ण कर उनकी वन्दना की।

पूज्यपाद शंकराचार्य जी महाराज 18 जुलाई को अपने शिष्य के अभय शंकर तिवारी के आवास पर आयोजित मणिद्वीपोत्सव नवचंडी महायज्ञ में पहुचेंगे जहां भक्तगण महाराज जी का चरण पादुका पूजन करेंगे।

पूज्यपाद महाराजश्री अपने 21 जुलाई से 18 सितंबर तक आयोजित अपने 22वें चातुर्मास्य व्रत अनुष्ठान सम्पन्न करने हेतु दिल्ली प्रस्थान कर जाएंगे।
