परमाराध्य परमधर्माधीश ज्योतिष्पीठाधीश्वर जगद्गुरु शङ्कराचार्य स्वामिश्री: अविमुक्तेश्वरानन्द: सरस्वती “1008” आज सायं अहमदाबाद से हवाई मार्ग से बाबतपुर पहुँचे। बबतरपुर से सड़क मार्ग से राजघाट पहुँचे और फिर वहाॅ से जलमार्ग से शङ्कराचार्य घाट स्थित श्रीविद्यामठ पधारे।
उपस्थित सन्तों,भक्तों व वैदिक विद्यार्थियों ने जयोद्घोष व पुष्पवर्षा कर पूज्यपाद शङ्कराचार्य जी महाराज का स्वागत,अभिनन्दन व वन्दन किया।
श्रीविद्यामठ में पूज्यपाद शङ्कराचार्य जी महाराज का वैदिक विद्वानों ने वैदिक मन्त्रोच्चार के साथ स्वागत किया जिसके अनन्तर अधिवक्ता श्री सन्तोष चौबे व श्रीमती चाँदनी चौबे ने पूज्यपाद महाराज जी का सविधि चरणपादुका पूजन किया।
अधिवक्ता श्री रमेश उपाध्याय जी, श्री सतीश अग्रसर जी, श्री रवि त्रिवेदी जी, श्री यतीन्द्र चतुर्वादी जी, श्री अभयशंकर तिवारी जी, हजारी सौरभ शुक्ल जी, श्री सदानन्द तिवारी जी आदि ने एयरपोर्ट पहुँच करपु ष्पमाला से शङ्कराचार्य जी महाराज का स्वागत किया।
उक्त जानकारी देते हुए पूज्यपाद शंकराचार्य जी महाराज के मीडिया प्रभारी सजंय पाण्डेय ने बताया कि पूज्यपाद शङ्कराचार्य जी महाराज के आगमन से उपस्थित भक्तों के खुशी का ठिकाना न रहा।

परमाराध्य शङ्कराचार्य जी महाराज ने विगत दिनों गौ माता को राष्ट्रमाता घोषित किया और वे चाहते हैं कि भारत की भूमि गौहत्या के कलंक से मुक्त हो। इसके लिए उनकी निरन्तर धर्म प्रचार यात्रा चल रही है। अनेक राज्यों से होते हुए आज वे काशी पधारे और कल श्रीविद्यामठ में मध्याह्न 12 बजे काशीवासियों के संग इस सन्दर्भ में वे चर्चा करेंगे।
आज श्रीविद्यामठ में स्वागत के अवसर पर साध्वी पूर्णाम्बा दीदी, साध्वी शारदाम्बा दीदी, ब्रह्मचारी परमात्मानन्द जी, डा शैलेन्द्र योगिराज, अनुराग दुबे, अमित तिवारी,सुनील शुक्ला, अजय सिंह, आकाश शर्मा, रविन्द्र मिश्रा आदि लोग उपस्थित थे। जगद्गुरुकुलम् के बटुक राघव दुबे एवं साध्वी सोनी जी ने शङ्कराचार्य जी के लिए मधुर स्वागत गीत प्रस्तुत किया।
