उक्त जानकारी देते हुए पुज्य शंकराचार्य जी महाराज के प्रेस प्रभारी सजंय पाण्डेय ने बताया कि महाराजश्री के काशी आगमन पर अखरी चौराहा,चितईपुर चौराहा,ककरमत्ता तिराहा,सुंदरपुर,गांधी नगर,नरिया, लंका,रविदास गेट,संकटमोचन तिराहा,दुर्गाकुण्ड,गुरुधाम चौराहा, चेतमणि चौराहा व सोनारपुरा चौराहा पर संतों,भक्तों व काशीसियों ने माल्यापर्ण,पुष्पवर्षा कर शंकराचार्य जी महाराज का जयोद्घोष के संग भावपूर्ण जोरदार स्वागत किया।सोनारपुरा चौराहे से श्रीविद्यामठ तक डमरू वादक दल महाराज जी के आगे आगे डमरू वादन करते चल रहा था और साथ मे सन्तों भक्तों का हुजूम जयकारा करते हुए चल रहा था। पूरे मार्ग मे पुष्प बिछाये गए थे व लोग मार्ग में पुष्पवर्षा कर रहे थे।
लोगो को आशीर्वचन प्रदान करते हुए पुज्य शंकराचार्य जी महाराज ने कहा कि काशीवासी धर्म के प्रति समर्पित रहे हैं।मानवता का मूल धर्म ही है। सभी को धर्म दृढ़ता से पालन करना चाहिए। काशी पापनाशिनी है। काशी सेवन के सुख का शब्दों में वर्णन नही किया जा सकता।
