कल 15 अगस्त को सारा देश स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाएगा। किंतु पूज्य ज्योतिर्मठ शंकराचार्य स्वामी अविमुक्तेश्वरानंद सरस्वती जी महाराज ने 16 जुलाई 2023 को ही स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाया क्योंकि भारतीय हिंदू तिथि के अनुसार श्रावण कृष्ण चतुर्दशी तिथि को स्वतंत्र हुआ, जो इस वर्ष 2023 में 16 जुलाई को थी।
शंकराचार्य स्वामी अविमुक्तेश्वरानंद सरस्वती जी महाराज समूचे भारत को अंग्रेजों के जाने के बाद अंग्रेजियत से स्वतंत्र कराने की क्रांति में भी लगे हैं। ज्ञात हो कि उनके गुरुदेव पूज्य ब्रह्मलीन शंकराचार्य स्वामी स्वरूपानंद सरस्वती जी भी स्वतंत्रता सेनानी थे। आज शंकराचार्य स्वामी अविमुक्तेश्वरानंद सरस्वती जी उसी क्रांति को आगे बड़ा रहे हैं।
ऐसे मनाया शंकराचार्य जी ने स्वतंत्रता दिवस
“यह इस देश की विडम्बना ही है कि भारत में आज भी अंग्रेजी तिथि के अनुसार राष्ट्रीय पर्व मनाया जाता है। भारतीयता की स्थापना के लिए हमारे पूर्वजों ने जिस अंग्रेज अंग्रेजियत को हटाया वह आज भी हमारे सत्ताधीशों के द्वारा चलाई जा रही है”।
उक्त बातें परमाराध्य परमधर्माधीश उत्तराम्नाय ज्योतिष्पीठाधीश्वर जगद्गुरु शङ्कराचार्य स्वामिश्रीः अविमुक्तेश्वरानन्दः सरस्वती ‘1008’ ने मेला प्रांगण में भारतीय स्वन्त्रता तिथि उत्सव के अवसर पर ध्वजारोहण करने के पश्चात् कही।
उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसा नहीं है कि इस देश में नेता लोग इस बात को न समझते हों कि भारतीय तिथियों में भारत के पर्व मनाए जाते हैं। क्योंकि रामनवमी, जन्माष्टमी और महाशिवरात्रि के दिन इसी देश में विद्यालयों और सरकारी कार्यालयों में तिथि अनुसार ही अवकाश दिया जाता है परन्तु हमारे राष्ट्रीय पर्व को आयोजित करने के लिए अंग्रेजों के बनाए ग्रेगोरियन कैलेण्डर का आधार लिया जाता है।
आगे कहा कि जब भारत के पास अपनी समृद्धशाली कालगणना की परम्परा विद्यमान है तो हमें इस पर गौरव करना चाहिए। कोई कारण नहीं कि हमें दूसरों की पद्धति को अपनाना पडे। भारत के लोग भारतीय होने में ही गौरव का अनुभव करते हैं।
स्वातन्त्र्य तिथि महोत्सव का शुभारम्भ पूज्य शङ्कराचार्य जी महाराज द्वारा स्वातन्त्र्यवीरोत्तम सम्मान से अलंकृत ब्रह्मलीन द्विपीठाधीश्वर जी महाराज के पूजन एवं ध्वजोत्तोलन से हुआ। जगद्गुरुकुलम् के वैदिक बटुकों ने एक स्वर में राष्ट्रगान प्रस्तुत किया। ब्रह्मचारी ब्रह्मविद्यानन्द जी, धर्मशास्त्रपुराणेतिहासाचार्य पं राजेन्द्र प्रसाद शास्त्री जी, आचार्य राजकुमार शास्त्री जी आदि ने अपने विचार व्यक्त किए।
ज्योतिर्मठ और बदरीनाथ धाम में भी मनाई गई स्वतंत्रता तिथि
ज्योतिष्पीठाधीश्वर शंकराचार्य जी महाराज की प्रेरणा से देश के कोने – कोने में अपनी तिथि के अनुसार अपने उत्सव को मनाया जा रहा है । आप प्रातः शंकराचार्य जी महाराज के ध्वजोत्तोलन के बाद उत्तराम्नाय ज्योतिर्मठ में आश्रम व्यवस्थापक विष्णुप्रियानन्द ब्रह्मचारी ने आश्रम वासियों की उपस्थित में ध्वज फहराया।
बदरीनाथ स्थित श्रीशंकराचार्य में भी आश्रम प्रभारी मुकुन्दानन्द ब्रह्मचारी द्वारा ध्वजोत्तोलन करके सबको प्रसाद बांटा गया । इस अवसर पर उपस्थित रहे सर्वश्री शिवानन्द उनियाल जी, महिमानन्द उनियाल जी, जगदीश उनियाल जी, अभिषेक बहुगुणा जी, मनोज गौतम जी, अरूण ओझा जी, अनुसूइया प्रसाद पुरोहित जी, सुभाष चन्द्र सती जी, गौरव , रमेश बिष्ट आदि उपस्थित रहे ।
इस प्रकार एक साथ तीन स्थानों पर स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाया गया। पूज्य शंकराचार्य भी पहले भी भारतीय हिंदू तिथि पर ही स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाते रहे हैं जो एक क्रांति का शुभारंभ है।
