आप सब महानुभावों को बांग्लादेश की वर्तमान परिस्थितियों के बारे में सब पता ही होगा क्योंकि वहाँ 5 अगस्त 2024 के बाद उत्पन्न होने वाले राजनैतिक संकट के कारण वहाँ व्याप्त अराजकता के बारे में रोज नई नई खबरें अखबारों में प्रकाशित होती रहती हैं। वहाँ की हालत भयावह है क्योंकि जो खबरें आ रही है वहाँ से वह किसी भी सभ्य समाज को दहलाने के लिए काफी हैं।

बांग्लादेश के अतीत और इतिहास के बारे में विस्तार से वर्णन करने की जरूरत नहीं है पर आज आप सबसे बात की आवश्यकता इसलिए पड़ रही है की वहाँ से मेरे पास बांग्लादेश से 12 सदस्यों का प्रतिनिधिमण्डल दिल्ली से विदुषी मधु किश्वर जी के साथ मुझसे मिला। मधु जी ने मुझसे पहले बात की थी कि बांग्लादेश के कुछ हिन्दू आपसे मिलकर अपनी व्यथा बताना चाहते हैं। मैं पिछले दिनों शीतकालीन चारधाम की यात्रा कर रहा था, जिसमे मेरे साथ भारत के विभिन्न प्रान्तों से आए करीब 100 लोगों का एक बड़ा समूह भी था, यह बेहद सफल यात्रा थी जिसमे मुझे भगवान् के दर्शन-पूजन के साथ-साथ समाज के विभिन्न लोगों के साथ सुखद सान्निध्य का अवसर भी प्राप्त हुआ। इस यात्रा की समाप्ति पर मुझे पहले से तय आगे की यात्रा और कार्यक्रमों में जाना था पर बीच में समय निकाल कर मैं काशी आया, क्योंकि मुझे लगा कि काशी इसके लिए उचित और सबके लिए सुविधाजनक स्थान था मिलने के लिए। कल सायं मधु जी के साथ आए बांग्लादेशी हिन्दुओं के इस प्रतिनिधिमण्डल से मैं मिला।

यह बैठक कल भगवान् केदारेश्वर के सान्निध्य में गंगा के मध्यधार में रखी गई क्योंकि मां गंगा हम सबके सन्तापों को हरने वाली और भारत को बांग्लादेश को जोड़ने वाली सभी सनातनधर्मियों की धात्री माता हैं और मन की पीड़ा को सुनने-सुनाने के लिए इससे उचित स्थान और क्या हो सकता था ? मैंने बांग्लादेश से आए हुए सभी हिन्दुओं से बारी-बारी से बात की, सबने अपनी-अपनी पीड़ा और अनुभव बताए।
इस प्रतिनिधिमण्डल में आए हुए लोग समाज के अलग-अलग क्षेत्रों, व्यवसायों से आए हुए लोग थे जिनमें से कइयों को बहुत मजबूर हालात में बांग्लादेश छोड़कर अन्य देशों में शरणार्थी बनकर जीना पड़ रहा है। इन सब लोगों के बीच जो एक बात समान थी वह थी हिन्दू होने के नाते उनका उत्पीड़न, उनकी सम्पत्ति की लूट, हत्या, आगजनी और उनकी बहन-बेटियों के साथ होने वाला पाशविक व्यवहार।

बांग्लादेश से आए इन हिन्दुओं से मैंने पूछा कि आपलोग अपना धर्म क्यों नहीं बदल लेते जिससे आपकी सभी विपत्तियां एक साथ समाप्त हो सकती हैं? इस पर उनका उत्तर था कि वे मरते दम तक इस्लाम स्वीकार करने के बारे में सोच भी नहीं सकते। उनके इस उत्तर से मेरा मन भर आया, मैंने सोचा कि बांग्लादेश के ये बहादुर हिन्दू भारत के उन कुछ हिन्दुओं से तो बहुत बेहतर हैं जो थोड़े से लालच में अपने पूर्वजों का मान बेच देते हैं, अपना धर्म बदल लेते हैं। बांग्लादेश में जैसा कल मुझे बांग्लादेशी हिन्दुओं ने बताया जो कुछ हो रहा है वह अभूतपूर्व , भयावह, शर्मनाक और हृदय को द्रवित करने वाला है। वहाँ भारत के राष्ट्रीय ध्वज को जूते से रौन्दते हुए हिन्दुओं से कहा जा रहा है कि तुम सब अपने देश भारत चले जाओ, बांग्लादेश में तुम्हारी जगह नहीं है। सरकारी नौकरियों में काम करने वाले हिन्दुओं को जबरदस्ती नौकरी से त्यागपत्र देने के लिए मजबूर किया जा रहा है और ऐसी अपमानजनक स्थिति बनाई जा रही है कि हिन्दू नौकरी से स्वयं त्यागपत्र दे दें। मन्दिरों की मूर्तियों को तोड़ा जा रहा है, चढ़ावे के पैसे को लूटा जा रहा है, पुजारियों की हत्याएँ की जा रही हैं, रात के अँधेरे और दिन के उजाले में दरवाजों को खुलवाकर जबरदस्ती बहन-बेटियों का अपहरण किया जा रहा है, उनके साथ दुराचार कर उन्हें मार दिया जा रहा है और यहाँ तक कि मर जाने के बाद भी उनके साथ दुराचार किया जा रहा है। धर्मान्तरण के लिए उन पर भारी दबाव है और मना करने पर जान से मार देने के खतरे भी हैं। इन लोगों ने बताया कि यह स्थिति अनायास ही एक दिन में नहीं बनी, वर्षों से हिन्दुओ के साथ बांग्लादेश में यह सब चल रहा है। पहले भी चुनाव हारने पर या फिर किसी भी छोटे बड़े कारणों से हिन्दुओ की हत्या और उनके सम्पत्तियों की लूट पहले भी होती रही और कठमुल्ले उन्हें धर्म बदलने का दबाव पहले भी लगातार डालते रहे। मन्दिरों को तोड़ना, उनकी सम्पत्तियों की लूट की घटनाएँ पहले भी होती थी पर जब से मोहम्मद यूनुस बांग्लादेश में सरकार के सलाहकार बन कर सत्ता में आए हैं तब से इन घटनाओं में कई गुना वृद्धि हुई है जो अब दिन प्रतिदिन और ज्यादा भयावह होती जा रही है। एक घटना बताते हुए एक सदस्य ने कहा कि हिन्दू की चावल मिल जला कर उसमे मौजूद 26,000 बोरी चावल भीड़ लूट ले गई और बाद में मिल में आग लगा दिया। निराशा, अपमान, आर्थिक रूप से विपन्न होने और अवसाद की स्थिति में हिन्दुओं में आत्महत्या की प्रवृत्ति लगातार बढ़ रही है। जो हिन्दू बांग्लादेश से बाहर जाना चाहते हैं उन्हें बांग्लादेश छोड़ने की अनुमति नहीं मिल रही हैं। ऐसे में जरूरी काम, शिक्षा, व्यवसाय और बीमारियों के इलाज के लिए बांग्लादेशी हिन्दू कहाँ जाएँ ? हिन्दुओं से उनकी खेती की जमीन छीन ली जा रही है।

बांग्लादेशी मुस्लिम विद्वान् प्रो. का. अब्दुल बरकत के अनुसार हिन्दुओं से उनकी करीब 26 लाख एकड़ जमीन 2008 तक छीन ली गई। हिन्दुओं को जो बांग्लादेश के बराबर के हकदार और वहाॅ के नागरिक हैं उन्हें काफिर कहकर अपमानित किया जाता है। हत्या और लूट की शिकायत करने पर पुलिस कोई करवाई नहीं करती, उल्टे शिकायतकर्ता हिन्दुओं को ही धमकाती है। इस प्रकार हिन्दुओं पर दो तरफा मार है । हिन्दुओं के पास ऐसी स्थिति में अपनी दुर्दशा पर सिवाय आँसू बहाने के क्या उपाय है? यही कारण है कि बांग्लादेश में पिछले 25 सालों में कम से कम 30 लाख बांग्लादेशी हिन्दुओं को कत्ल-ए-आम किया गया और करीब करोड़ों हिन्दू पुरुष, स्त्री, बच्चे गायब हो चुके हैं। निर्माण के समय वहाॅ जहाँ हिन्दुओं की कुल आबादी लगभग 23 फीसदी थी वह अब घट कर शायद 7 फीसदी रह गई है। बाकी की आबादी कहाँ गई ? मार दी गई, पलायन गई या फिर जोर जबरदस्ती से उसका धर्म बदल दिया गया। इसके उलट भारत में मुसलमानों की आबादी लगातार बढ़ी, wakf की सम्पति के नाम पर जमीनों पर बेजा कब्जे के कारण अकूत जमीन मुसलमानों के पास आई। भारत में हर राजनीतिक दल को मुसलमानों की चिन्ता है क्योंकि उनके पास वोट की ताकत है पर बांग्लादेश में हिन्दुओं के साथ कोई खड़ा होने के लिए तैयार नहीं है। भारत में कोई राजनैतिक दल बांग्लादेश के हिन्दुओं की दुर्दशा पर बोलने के लिए तैयार नहीं है जबकि फिलिस्तीन और यूक्रेन पर सभी काफी मुखर है। उन्हें पश्चिम एशिया और यूरोप की चिंता है पर अपने पड़ोस में 80 साल पहले तक भारत का अंग रहे बांग्लादेशी हिन्दुओं की फिक्र करने में भय लगता है। इसका कारण आप सबको पता है इस पर विस्तार से बताने की जरूरत नहीं है। बांग्लादेश का हिन्दू अपनी बहन की शादी किसी मुसलमान से करने के लिए तैयार नहीं है, वह उनकी शिक्षाओं और आज के बांग्लादेश के अराजक व्यवहार को अपनाने के लिए भी तैयार नहीं हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि बांग्लादेश के हिन्दू अपनी मेहनत का खाते हैं पर किसके सामने हाथ नहीं फैलाते। मुझसे भी इन हिन्दुओं ने पैसे की मदद जुटाने के लिए मदद की गुहार नहीं की बल्कि कहा कि वह अपने हितों और सम्मान के लिए लड़ते हुए मरना पसन्द करेंगे किन्तु किसी के सामने अपमानित और हाथ फैलाना पसन्द नहीं करेंगे। उनकी बातों में दर्द के साथ हिन्दू होने का गौरव भी झलक रहा था पर उनका मन भारी था, हृदय में पीड़ा थी क्योंकि अपमान और बेबसी का एहसास उनके मन को विदीर्ण कर रहा था। बांग्लादेश में चिन्मय iskon के सन्त जिन्हें अब iskon ने अपने संगठन से निकाल दिया है कि जेल भेजे जाने की बात भी उठी जिनके कैस की अगली सुनवाई की तारीख 2 जनवरी 2025 है।

मैने पूरे ध्यान से बांग्लादेशी हिन्दू प्रनिधिमण्डल की बातें गंगाजी की धार के मध्य गंगाजी की गोद में क्योंकि माॅ से बड़ा रक्षक कोई और नहीं होता; पूरे मनोयोग से शान्तिपूर्वक सुना और उनसे ही इस परिस्थिति से निकलने का उपाय पूछा तब उन्होंने कहा कि वह लोग शंकराचार्य पीठ के शरणागत हैं। क्योन्कि हम हिन्दू धार्मिक होने के कारण ही सताए जा रहे हैं और हिन्दू धर्म के आप शङ्कराचार्य सर्वोच्च धर्माचार्य हैं। हमारे धार्मिक अभिभावक हैं। आपका जो भी निर्देश होगा वह लोग उसका पालन करेंगे। मेरी सीमाएँ हैं और पीठ की मर्यादायें भी हैं जिस कारण मैं एक सीमा में ही कुछ कह सकता हूँ पर मेरे मन में इनकी पीड़ा से उपजी अकथ व्यथा है जिसको बता पाना मुश्किल है। मैं इनके लिए कुछ करना चाहता था पर क्या करूँ? इस प्रश्न का समाधान मिल नही रहा था। मैने एक बार फिर उनसे ही पूछा कि वह क्या चाहते है ? उन्होंने कुछ मांगे रखीं जो मैं आप लोगों से साझा कर रहा हूँ।

1. हिन्दुओं के लिए बांगलादेश में एक अलग राष्ट्र जो भारत की सीमा से लगते हुए क्षेत्र के पास हो या फिर हिन्दुओं के लिए स्वायत्त सेफ जोन जिसमें बांग्लादेश सरकार का ज्यादा दखल न हो।
2. भारत और बांग्लादेश के बीच आबादी की अदला बदली जिसने बांग्लादेश की हिन्दू आबादी भारत में और उसी के अनुपात में सुविधाजनक रूप में मुस्लिम आबादी का बांग्लादेश को भेजा जाय।
3. नागरिकता संशोधन कानून के अधीन नियत तारीख के पूर्व तक भारत में निवास करते रहने की बाध्यता को समाप्त करके इसे सदा के लिए खोल दिया जाए जिससे नियत देशों से कभी भी भारत आने वाला हिन्दू जो भारत की नागरिकता की मंशा जाहिर करे, वह भारत का नागरिक बन सके।
4. दुनिया में कहीं भी जन्म लेने वाले हिन्दू को स्वाभाविक रूप से भारत का नागरिक माना जाए जैसा कि इजरायल में होता है।
5. बांग्लादेश केवह हिन्दू जो 5 अगस्त 2024 के पहले भारत में वीजा पर आए थे और वीजा अवधि खत्म होने के बाद वापस बांग्लादेश लौटने पर विवश हो उनकी वीजा अवधि को तब तक बढ़ाया जाए जब तक बांग्लादेश में स्थिति सामान्य न हो जाय।
6. जबरदस्ती रोजगार और नौकरी से निकाले गए हिन्दुओं के लिए रोजगार की व्यवस्था जिससे की हिन्दू सम्मानपूर्ण तरीके से अपनी जीविका कमा सकें।
7. बांग्लादेश में हिन्दुओं के समर्थन और सहयोग के लिए, वस्तुस्थिति के मूल्यांकन के लिए शंकराचार्य पीठ की तरफ से एक प्रतिनिधिमण्डल का भेजा जाना जो बांग्लादेश के हिन्दुओं का मनोबल बढ़ा सके।
इन मांगों और इनके अतिरिक्त उन्होंने जो अपील हमें दी है उसमें की गयी उनकी मांगों को भी हम समर्थन देते हैं।

मुझे लगता है कि यह मांगें उचित हैं और हमें इनके लिए प्रयास करना चाहिए। यद्यपि की इन प्रयासों का परिणाम आने में समय लगेगा और यह भी कि इतने प्रयासों मात्र से हिन्दुओं के हृदय का क्षोभ और पीड़ा कम होने वाली नहीं है पर प्रयासों को कहीं से तो शुरू करना होगा। इसलिए हम कम से कम इतने से शुरू तो करें और आगे के रास्ते अपने आप बनेंगे और ईश्वर ने चाहा तो परिस्थितियाॅ जल्दी ही बदलेंगी और भगवान् हिन्दुओं के पीड़ा की जल्दी ही सुध लेंगे क्योंकि भगवान् के घर देर है अंधेर नहीं।
