वर्तमान संसदीय चुनाव में काशी से प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के विरुद्ध प्रतिभाग करने वाले गौभक्त कोली शेट्टी शिवकुमार ने प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जी व केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शाह जी को पत्र लिखकर गौमाता को राष्ट्रमाता घोषित करने व गोकशी पूर्णतया प्रतिबंधित करने की मांग करते हुए कहा कि माननीयद्वय जी जैसा कि आपको ज्ञात है कि गौमाता सनातनधर्म व मानवता की मूल हैं। बिना गौमाता के धर्म व मानवता की कल्पना असंभव है। शास्त्रों में वर्णित है कि यह धरती सात लोगों के कारण टिकी हुई है जिसमे गौमाता प्रमुख हैं। गौमाता न सिर्फ अपने अमृत दूध से हमें जीवन प्रदान करती हैं अपितु कृषि के क्षेत्र में गौवंश का महत्वपूर्ण स्थान है।
सर्वविदित है कि अगर गौमाता को विष दे दिया जाए तब भी उस विष का असर गौमाता अपने स्तनों में नही उतरने देती ताकि उस विषाक्त दूध को पीकर उनके किसी बच्चे को क्षति न पहुचे। ऐसी सर्वदेवमयी गौमाता का राक्षसी प्रवृत्ति के लोग अपने भोजन हेतु हत्या कर रहे हैं। आपको भी निःसन्देह ज्ञात ही होगा कि भारत देश मे बहुत तेजी से गोकशी हो रही है। गोकशी को रोकने हेतु स्वतंत्रता के बाद से लंबे समय से सन्त इस देश मे आंदोलन कर रहे हैं। धर्मसम्राट करपात्री जी महाराज के गौरक्षा आंदोलन के संदर्भ में सबको जानकारी है। वर्तमान समय मे परमधर्माधीश ज्योतिष्पीठाधीश्वर जगदगुरु शंकराचार्य स्वामिश्री: अविमुक्तेश्वरानंद: सरस्वती जी महाराज गौमाता को राष्ट्रमाता घोषित कराने व गोकशी बन्द कराने हेतु कठिन संघर्ष कर रहे हैं। उनके द्वारा छेड़े गए राष्ट्रव्यापी आंदोलन से हमसब लोग जुड़े हैं।
श्री कोली शेट्टी ने प्रधानमंत्री को लिखे पत्र में कहा कि गोकशी को बन्द कराने व गौमाता को राष्ट्रमाता घोषित कराने के उद्देश्य से ही हमने भी आपके विरुद्ध वर्तमान संसदीय चुनाव में काशी से प्रतिभाग किया था।और अनेक विपरीत परिस्थिति के उपस्थित होने और चुनाव प्रचार न कर पाने के बावजूद हमको गौमाता के नाम पर काशी में 5750 वोट प्राप्त हुआ था। आपको याद होगा जब आप मुख्यमंत्री थे तो आपने कहा था कि गौमाता के दुख को देखकर मैं छुप छुप कर रोता हूँ। माननीय गृहमन्त्री अमित शाह जी ने भी वर्तमान संसदीय चुनाव के दौरान सीता माता की धरती से कहा था कि एक बार और आपलोग मोदी जी को प्रधानमंत्री बना दीजिए हमलोग गोकशी करने वालों को उल्टा लटकाकर सीधा कर देंगे। गोकशी करने वालों को कठोर दंड देकर हर हाल में गौमाता की रक्षा की जाएगी।
तिरुपति देवस्थानं की तरफ से जब मैं ट्रस्टी था तब बड़े आंदोलनों के माध्यम से प्रयास किया था और हमारे पास हजारों शीर्ष सन्तों का हस्ताक्षरयुक्त पत्र है जिसमे उन्होंने गोकशी को हर हाल में रोकने हेतु कठोर कदम उठाने की बात कही है। कोली शेट्टी ने अपने लिखे पत्र को मेल के माध्यम से प्रधानमंत्री जी व गृहमन्त्री जी को भेज दिया है।
अतः आपसे विनम्र अनुराध है कि आप गौमाता की कृपा से तीसरी बार प्रधानमंत्री बन गए हैं। इसीलिए गौमाता को राष्ट्रमाता घोषित कर गौकशी रोकने हेतु कठोर कानून बनवाइए।गौमाता जब राष्ट्रमाता होंगी तो उनका अपना संविधान होगा और उन्हें छूने की कोई हिम्मत नही कर सकेगा। और इस सुकृत्य से आप अमर हो जाएंगे। माननीय उच्चतम न्यायालय प्रयागराज ने भी गौमाता को राष्ट्रीय पशु घोषित करने हेतु कहा है। लेकिन हमलोग चाहते हैं कि गौमाता को राष्ट्रीय पशु नही राष्ट्रमाता घोषित किया जाए।
