सभा को सम्बोधित करते हुए शिव काशी मंच प्रमुख व प्रेस प्रभारी संजय पाण्डेय ने कहा कि ब्रम्हलीन स्वतंत्रता संग्राम सेनानी पूज्य जगद्गुरु शंकराचार्य स्वामी स्वरूपानंद सरस्वती जी महाराज ने अपना पूरा जीवन सनातनधर्म को पुष्ट करने में गुजार दिया। पूज्य महाराज जी ने ही राम मंदिर का ताला खुलवाया,महाराज श्री के कृपा से ही राम जन्म भूमि हिंदुओ को मिला व आज राम मंदिर बनने का मार्ग प्रशस्त हुआ है, रामसेतु को महाराज जी ने बचाया व साथ ही गंगा जी को राष्ट्रीय नदी घोषित कराया। महाराज जी द्वारा शुरू किए गए समस्त आंदोलनों को कमान वर्तमान ज्योतिष पीठाधीश्वर जगद्गुरु स्वामिश्री: अविमुक्तेश्वरानंद: सरस्वती जी महाराज ने सम्भला था। बात चाहे गौ रक्षा, धर्मान्तरण, साई बाबा या सनातनधर्म के किसी भी मानबिंदु की रही हो समस्त मुद्दों पर स्वरूपानंद जी महाराज ने उल्लेखनीय योगदान प्रदान किया। काशी से भी स्वरूपानंद जी महाराज का गहरा नाता रहा है उनके ब्रम्हलीन हो जाने से समस्त काशी मर्माहत है व उनकी कमी सदैव खलेगी। हमारी आने वाली पीढियां भी उनके ऋण से मुक्त नही हो सकती।
सभा की अध्यक्षता करते हुए अखिल भारतीय दंडी सन्यासी समिति के महामंत्री स्वामी ईश्वरानंद तीर्थ जी महाराज ने कहा कि ब्रम्हलीन शंकराचार्य स्वरूपानंद जी महाराज जी अद्वितीय रहे उनके द्वारा धर्म व समाज के लिए किये गए कार्यों का वर्णन करना सम्भव नही है। समस्त दंडी सन्यासी समाज के पथप्रदर्शक थे और समस्त दंडी सन्यासी समाज उनका आभारी है हम समस्त लोग उनको भावभीनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करते हैं और उनके श्रीचरणों मे कोटि कोटि नमन करते हैं।
ब्रम्हचारी हृदयानंद जी,डॉ अभय शंकर तिवारी जी,विनीत तिवारी जी ने भी सभा मे अपना विचार व्यक्त किया।
